How We Help
Our educators specialize in individual instruction. A number of them have certification in literacy instruction. They use kindness and the latest educational techniques to develop each student's abilities.
Literacy
Our teachers utilize a variety of materials to instruct and to test that learning has taken place. Reading instruction concentrates on decoding and comprehension.
Mathematics
We tailor the mathematics instruction to meet each individual; using the Common Core State Standards Initiative as a point of departure.
Social Studies
We provide an enriched background in history to complement the student's understanding of its relationship to geography.
Writing
Writing instruction improves spelling, grammar, organization, and writing style. The use of available resources including a dictionary and thesaurus, fosters academic independence, our ultimate goal.
Science
We pride ourselves in developing our student's understanding of science as it pertains to mathematics and the world around them.
Examinations
We offer test preparation including practice with standardized state tests. Whenever students require extra time, we help proctor them so that testing complies with 504 regulations and the student's IESP.
